I originally got the idea from dealing with supplier files myself. Every time I wanted to add products, I had to go through messy spreadsheets, match images manually, fix formatting, create variants, and then upload everything product by product. It was slow, repetitive, and honestly one of the most frustrating parts of running an ecommerce store. At first, I thought the problem was just “importing products faster,” but as I worked on it, I realized the real issue is that supplier data is almost always messy and inconsistent. So the focus shifted from just importing to actually handling that mess, cleaning data, structuring it, and turning it into usable products automatically. Over time, the approach evolved into building a system that goes from raw supplier data → structured products → ready to publish, with a review step in between so users still have control. The goal now is simple: remove as much manual work as possible and make product creation something that takes minutes instead of hours.
