Hello Product Hunt ๐Ÿ‘‹ Anand here, from LocalOps. We have built a cloud deployment automation tool for small developer teams to provision production environments on public cloud such as AWS, with just a few clicks. Specifically to make Private-SaaS deployments easy. Why did we build LocalOps? Businesses in regulated industries such as Financial services and Healthcare have a lot of restrictions while signing up for B2B SaaS products. They canโ€™t share their data as freely as others, need data hosted in their region and need more privacy & performance guarantees. These businesses ask software vendors to deploy applications on their cloud environment. We wanted to make it easier for small developer teams to deliver to these regulated businesses. So we built a deployment tool to connect to any cloud provider and deploy applications with just a few clicks, remotely monitor and send updates from a single dashboard. We built LocalOps to automate such Private-SaaS deployments end to end on any public cloud. ๐Ÿ“ฆ Docker packages? Alternatively, developers can package their applications as Docker image and hand it off to customers IT team to self host, install and maintain. But Iโ€™ve heard from CTOs that Day-1 Installation is slow and Day-2 operations are super hard with unique cloud environments. Monitoring these deployments remotely, keeping them up-to-date and offering same experience as their Public SaaS offering etc., lack tools and automation. Big developer teams with a solid DevOps team build these tools in-house. We wanted to bring same tools and automation to smaller developer teams as well, in LocalOps. How? Each customer deployment is considered as an App environment. They work the same way no matter which cloud they run on. One can signup for LocalOps, provide credentials to a target cloud account & private Helm repo, and deploy a production grade app environment on that cloud in about ~20mins and get a unique HTTPS url for the specific app instance. Each app environment is backed by a cloud-provider managed Kubernetes cluster to run Apps. Plus, we bundle each App environment with complementary tools to enable deployments, logs and metrics monitoring, and more to free up developers from making such choices. ๐Ÿš€ Any number of app environments can be provisioned across any cloud and region, with just a few clicks. Try It Now We'd love for you to try LocalOps! ๐Ÿ‘‰ Sign up now at https://console.localops.co/signup and try spinning up App environments. No need to connect your cloud. You can use the sandbox cloud that is kept ready in your account. Weโ€™d love to hear your thoughts and feedback. Have you deployed applications on customersโ€™ clouds? Which parts did you find most challenging?

@luckydev LocalOps' focus on automating private SaaS deployments for small developer teams sounds like a valuable solution! Streamlining cloud provisioning and managing deployments across various environments can significantly improve efficiency. Here are some questions for further exploration: - How does LocalOps ensure compliance with security and data privacy regulations for sensitive industries (e.g., healthcare, finance)? - Can LocalOps handle deployments for larger applications or complex infrastructure needs? - Does LocalOps integrate with existing CI/CD pipelines and offer customization options for specific deployment procedures? As a developer, I'm interested in the technical aspects of LocalOps. Here are some potential areas for collaboration: - Contributing to further development of robust security features for secure private deployments. - Exploring integrations with additional cloud providers beyond the currently supported ones. - Implementing advanced monitoring and alerting features for proactive issue detection and management. I'd love to learn more about LocalOps' architecture and explore opportunities to contribute to its development. Additionally, I've had experience with deploying applications on customer clouds. The most challenging aspects often involve: - Adapting deployments to specific configurations and security policies. - Working with limited access to customer systems for troubleshooting or updates. - Ensuring continuous uptime and performance without direct control. I'll definitely try out the LocalOps sandbox environment to see its capabilities firsthand!

Hey @luckydev this looks awesome. Been looking for something like this for years ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป The interface also looks very well organized. Are you planning to add other providers like DigitalOcean, Linode and especially those from the EU like Hetzner or HostEurope? Congrats on the launch ๐Ÿš€
Anand Muthukrishnan
@crebuh thank you so much. Yes, AWS is just a start. GCP, Hetzner and DO are in our roadmap - https://localops.co/roadmap
Anand Muthukrishnan
@crebuh Do signup at https://console.localops.co/signup and try out app environments. No need to connect your cloud to try all capabilties at first. Looking forward to your review :)
Kyrylo Silin
Hey Anand, I'm curious about how you handle compliance requirements across different regions. Do you offer any built-in compliance checks or reporting features? How does LocalOps handle rollbacks or disaster recovery scenarios? Congrats on the launch!
Anand Muthukrishnan
@kyrylosilin That was a great question. LocalOps lets you deploy applications-in-full-stack directly on customers end in their cloud (say AWS). There by staying away from all the data. Devs can side-step/skip on most compliance requirements this way, by not having access to the data at all. Regarding Disaster recovery, LocalOps lets you schedule daily backups to happen directly inside customer's AWS account say. Checkout https://help.localops.co/en/arti... . Rollbacks: Version rollbacks can be done by making a new deployment with a previous release number. Please do signup at https://console.localops.co/signup to explore more. Common releases scenarios are handled out of the box.

I like your home, great display of use cases. I am not a fan of the glitching text, it's a distraction. You have an amazing service, you don't need that. I am trying to read this "Deploying to customers cloud? Spin up production-ready app environments in any cloud in < 30 mins. Fully Automated. All Batteries Included." but I didn't finish reading it before the glitching text above took my attention. That's your value and it's getting lost.
Anand Muthukrishnan
@negou_seid1 Thanks a lot. We noted this down to get it fixed asap.
Negou Seid
@luckydev awesome, glad to help
Anand Muthukrishnan

@negou_seid1 sure thing! Thank you.
Gorkem Cetin
Wow- that was what I was searching for. One question: does it work for multiple apps / versions as we have several different Dockerized apps?
Anand Muthukrishnan
@gorkemcetin Of course. Answer is Yes. You can create as many apps and versions you want and deploy across any number of app environments across any number of cloud accounts. Please do sign up for a 30-day free trial at https://console.localops.co/signup . You can also schedule 1-1 demo to go in-depth for your usecase with me - http://on.localops.co/meetings/a...
