Find & Validate Business Ideas With The Business Feasibility & Market Saturation Generator

by

Hi everyone. this is my first time using Product Hunt so I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Brandon Boushy. I have an MBA and HVAC Engineering Degree with a minor in facility management, but I have been self-employed since 2017. I started out my self employment journey in 2017 by helping my wife find photography clients, estimating project costs for product photography jobs, and providing project management.

That eventually led to consulting work, which led to a company called UpFlip asking me to write articles about how to start a business. This was really fulfilling because I was able to go from helping a couple of clients to millions of people each year by doing basically the same things I was already doing.

During that time I got the idea to create a business ideas generator that went beyond the typically what are you good at and get down to the actual things that impact success like the market saturation, positioning, and other aspects.

I am not a developer. I can read code, but when it comes to writing it, something about it just doesn't click so I have been hindered in creating my ideas, but AI (and maybe my understanding of code and processes) has reached the point where part of my vision is now built so I want to share it with y'all. It launches at midnight and I'd love it if you'd check it out.

This business ideas generator uses data to compare your local business competition per 10,000 people to the national levels to identify market saturation. Validate your business idea or find low competition fields. It uses the API and Gemini to analyze the data and calculate the local and national establishments/10K people. It also provides reports in PDF, json, and other formats.

How to Use the Engine to Validate a Business Idea:

  1. Select Mode: Choose 'I have a business idea'.

  2. Set Location: Enter your City, State, and ZIP code (or select a default location).

  3. Select Industry: Select your specific industry or choose one of the 12 sector presets.

  4. Adjust Parameters: : Adjust optional parameters such as positioning, number of work vehicles, and target market.

  5. Run Evaluation: Click 'Evaluate Market Feasibility'.

  6. Analyze Metrics: Review live Census data, density ratios, and unit economics.

  7. Export & Share: Share findings, export a PDF dossier, copy data, or print report.

To find business ideas:

  1. Select Mode: Click 'I need a business idea'.

  2. Set Target Location: Select your target location (City, State, and ZIP code).

  3. Filter Investment Capital: Choose an optional startup investment capital level.

  4. Scan Opportunities: Click 'Scan Census Data for Top 10 Opportunities'.

  5. Sort Results: Sort generated business ideas by sector, opportunity score, or investment tier.

  6. Generate Report: Click 'Run Feasibility Dossier' on your selected opportunity.

  7. Export & Save: You can share findings, export PDF, copy data as JSON, or print.

I hope you'll try it out. It's free to use. Because I ultimately care about helping as many people as possible I have included embedding software to make it where anyone can add it to their site. I hope you enjoy it.
