I built Listenable because I kept running into great articles and long-form content that I wanted to get through, but didn’t always have the time or focus to sit down and read. A lot of the time I just wanted to listen while walking, driving, or doing something else. The goal was to make that experience feel simple and seamless: drop in a link, turn it into audio, and actually enjoy consuming it. While building it, I spent a lot of time thinking about how to keep the product minimal and intuitive so it feels useful right away without a learning curve.
