We have job boards but we don't have the opposite. This is that opposite! For workers: Submit your name, email, a short description, and your resume. Your posting stays active for 30 days. Renew it if you're still looking for work! For employers: Browse the list, refine your search with filters and reach out directly.

I was recently laid off and found the whole job searching process in 2026 awful. LinkedIn has a business model and algorithm that rewards personal branding and now AI being used on both sides of the hiring process. Companies are using it to filter candidates and workers are using it to write their resumes and cover letters. This is the same pattern that we've seen in the last 15 years with dating apps! The algorithms developed for profit have shaped the incentives. These incentives have over time shaped social behaviours. The job search and match finding is a social interaction and we shouldn't let AI and for profit algorithms substitute this human interaction. I was thinking about job searching in my 20s and you'd walk into a place, drop off your resume, maybe chat with whoever was at the desk. Or you'd send a quick email directly to the person hiring. Existing tools aren't making it easier to hire, they make it faster and more complex. What do you all think? I'd love to hear what people who are hiring and people who are looking for work have to say about current hiring processes in 2026!
