What a clever way to breathe new life into content. Can I incorporate animated gestures, or is it just facial sync for the time being?

Maker
@ethan_lennon Thank you for your question! Currently, LipSync.video supports micro-movements and lip syncing of avatars, but there is no gesture function yet. The video effect has reached the level you mentioned. We also plan to add support for more actions in the future, so stay tuned!

What’s the best image resolution to achieve optimal results?
Does it work well with illustrations, or is it just for human portraits?
Report
Maker
@sadie_scott Thanks for asking! For best results, we recommend using clear images around 720p to 1080p resolution—this helps the AI accurately sync lips and movements.
LipSync.video works great with human portraits and also performs well with many types of illustrations, especially those with clear facial features. Abstract or heavily stylized images might be more challenging, but we’re constantly improving compatibility!
Feel free to try different images and see what works best for you!

💎 Pixel perfection
This is an amazing tool for marketers. How effectively does it capture emotional tone or shifts in expression in the voice?
Great question — LipSync.video captures the rhythm, pacing, and basic emotional tone from the voice (like excitement, calmness, or seriousness), and reflects that through the lip sync and head motion.
While we don’t yet simulate fine-grained facial expressions (like eyebrow movement or subtle emotion shifts), that’s definitely part of our roadmap. Our focus right now is making it fast, accessible, and language-agnostic — and we’re improving expression handling next!
Would love to hear what kind of emotional nuances you'd like to see!

Can users export their videos in different aspect ratios for platforms like TikTok, YouTube Shorts or Instagram Reels?

Maker
@logan_king Great question — at the moment, LipSync.video exports videos in their original aspect ratio.
We’re actively working on adding support for multiple formats like 9:16, and 16:9 to make it easier for creators to publish directly across platforms. Stay tuned — it’s coming soon! 🙌

This is perfect for educators who are short on time. Does it support background music or text overlays as well?

@james_f_gerke Thank you so much! This means a lot to me 🙌
We’re trying to keep it minimalist at the moment – no background music or text overlays for now – but it’s definitely something we’re keeping an eye on.
We want to make it easy for anyone to make a great video, so we’re providing some lightweight editing features.
Thanks for your feedback

I like that it gives you results instantly without much setup. Would be even better with more style options.
