Love this idea! Feels like my LinkedIn feed is 90% AI-generated posts these days. Are there any industries or types of posts where AI-generated content is more common than you expected?

Very much needed but how does this work? It is my understanding that not even google can detect AI content, how do you manage?

@jogicodes The whole premise was to be able to do it in the browser. We didn't want to send everything to an API. So what we did was just look for markers and attributes that scream out being written by AI.

Based upon the freqency, how many different categories of markers it then gives it a score.

I wrote a bit more about it https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/how-i-recognise-ai-authored-content-linkedin-app-built-drake-tiyrc/?trackingId=psbWFG1DQBmsDJZB078JuA%3D%3D

How does it work? Well I wrote a breif summary of what it looks for and how it works.

But we have a list of words, phrases things that it looks for. Once it has scanned for those patterns it does a few more things to calculate the final score:

  1. Adds up matched pattern weights.

  2. Applys the text length modifier, different length posts have different weighting

  3. Adds category and pattern diversity bonuses, getting a match in more than one category increases the score

  4. Applys any other bonus multipliers, these are items that overwhelming point to AI content
