Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I’m Rachel, the solo founder behind LifeVault. I didn’t build this because I spotted a market opportunity. I built it because I spent years caring for my father with Alzheimer’s, then later my mother, and discovered how overwhelming it is to manage someone’s life when every important detail lives somewhere different. Medical records. Insurance cards. Medications. IDs. Pet records. Home documents. Emergency contacts. Everything is easy to ignore—until the moment you need it. So I built the app I wish I’d had. LifeVault lets you create profiles for the people, pets, and households you care about, scan documents into structured records, keep everything connected in one place, track important events over time, and generate clean summaries you can share with caregivers, teachers, doctors, pet sitters, or family members. A few things that make it different: • No account required • No cloud required • Data stays on your device • Face ID protection and encrypted backups • Built from real caregiving experience—not assumptions LifeVault is free during launch as I continue growing and improving the app. Your data will never be held hostage behind a subscription. I’d genuinely love to hear what you think—whether it’s praise, criticism, feature ideas, or things that don’t make sense. Every comment helps make LifeVault better. If you know someone caring for aging parents, raising children, managing pets, organizing a household, or simply trying to keep life’s important information in one place, I’d be incredibly grateful if you shared LifeVault with them. Thanks for checking it out! 💛

love that it stays on device with no account, feels like exactly the kind of privacy-first thinking that's missing from most family apps. the one-page summary idea is genuinely clever for handoffs to caregivers.

Thanks so much! I wanted people to feel comfortable storing really personal information without creating another account or uploading it to someone else’s servers.

And I’m glad you noticed the Profile Summary and/or support guide. They came directly from real life—those moments when you need to share important details with a teacher, doctor, caregiver, pet sitter, or family member.

Really appreciate you checking out LifeVault and taking the time to leave a comment! ❤️ THANK YOU!
