Lengpal - Google Meet for language exchange.

Hi everyone! I’m Ayoub, the founder of Lengpal, a video chat tool for language exchange. Think of it as Google Meet for language practice. Lengpal is simple. You create an account, select your native and target languages, create a room, and invite a partner to join you for a language exchange session. It’s a simple idea, but one that can be very helpful for the language learning community. Every day, we see hundreds of posts on Reddit and Facebook groups from language enthusiasts looking for partners to practice with over video using tools like Google Meet or Zoom. However, those tools are not designed for language exchange and do not provide the features needed for effective language practice. Lengpal includes a built-in timer, which is essential for any language exchange. You agree with your partner on which language to start with, set the timer, and begin. Once the time is up, you switch to the other language so both participants get equal practice time. We’re also working on additional tools such as word saving, instant translation, and live subtitles.
