AI can build anything. Except a plan. I kept losing the plot in nine chats named “continue.” Decisions lived in a Notion doc that described an app that no longer existed. Claude Code would ship the wrong thing because I’d handed it a vibe, not a scope. Leefy is the visual planning layer I wanted: the idea grows as a living tree (workstreams, not threads), then a branch hands itself to Claude Code as a named session — what’s in, what’s decided, what’s out. Harvest the result back onto the tree. Export Markdown when you want the exit door. It started as my own planning board. G’day PH 👋 — Charlie here, solo founder, launching from Australia where it’s currently 5pm (the all-nighter is scheduled).

The origin story is unglamorous: I’ve run software operations for 30 years, and last year I finally started building my own products with AI. The building was the easy part. What killed me was everything around it — nine Claude Code sessions named "continue", decisions buried in scrolled-away chats, projects stalling at 70% because the plan lived nowhere.

Leefy is my answer: your idea grows as a living tree. Branches are workstreams, buds are early ideas, fruit is shippable work. AI acts as a gardener — it grows sub-branches, prunes dead ends, coaches your next step — and any branch hands off to Claude Code (or Grok Build, or Codex) as a named, ready-to-run session. When you’re done, everything harvests out: Markdown, Word, PDF, git-ready prompts. No lock-in — I built the exit doors first, because that’s what I’d demand as a customer.

There’s no wall in front of any of this. The trial is free for 7 days with no credit card, and when it ends your garden stays readable and exportable instead of being held hostage. If you don’t want an account at all, opens a real tree you can play with right now.

Honest limitations, day one: it’s desktop-first (although it runs quite nicely on an iPad), the Claude Code bridge is the deepest agent integration so far, and phases won’t suit people who like their chaos. It’s $19/mo after the trial, and BYOK means your own API key never touches your credit balance.
