I'm Rudi, founder of DoublOne, and I'm excited to launch the LeedPDF Mac app. After seeing all the love the web version has been getting at leed.my, I decided it was time to build a proper native Windows experience—PDF annotation that actually feels like sketching on paper. The Problem: Most PDF annotation tools feel... terrible. Either they're slow, laggy desktop apps from 2003, or they're web tools where drawing feels like you're fighting the interface. I wanted something that responds to my pen like real paper would. Why This, Why Now: The web app has been getting amazing feedback—people love the smooth drawing and clean interface. But I kept hearing "I wish this was a native app" from Windows users. So with SvelteKit + Tauri, I could bring that same smooth experience to the desktop with even better performance.
