Hi Product Hunt, We built Layer9 around a simple hiring problem: engineering teams often spend too much time interviewing candidates without enough evidence of how they actually think. Layer9 sits before the technical interview. Candidates work through realistic technical scenarios with follow-up questions and changing constraints. Instead of producing only a score, Layer9 shows the reasoning evidence behind its assessment and suggests areas the interviewer should explore further. We are starting with software engineering roles and keeping the final hiring decision with the human team. We would especially like feedback from founders, CTOs, engineering leaders, and anyone involved in technical hiring.
