Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I built LawyerKhoj after watching a family member get completely taken advantage of in a landlord dispute — not because the law wasn't on their side, but because they had no idea what kind of lawyer to call, what it would cost, or even what their situation was actually called legally. That's the gap I wanted to close. Not a lawyer directory (there are plenty). Not legal advice (we're explicit that this isn't that). Just the 5-minute orientation that helps someone walk into a consultation prepared instead of lost. A few things I'm proud of that I don't see elsewhere: 1. It works in any language. Describe your situation in Hindi, Arabic, Spanish, French — you get a response in that language, with cost estimates anchored to your actual location, not US dollar defaults. 2. Zero data retention. Your query is processed through an encrypted enterprise API and immediately discarded. No account needed. No query logs. Privacy-first wasn't a marketing line — it was a design constraint from day one. 3. The two-model pipeline. A fast model classifies your case type first, then a more capable model does the deeper analysis. This keeps response times under 10 seconds while still producing nuanced guidance.
