Introduction of launchAEO and what we are trying to achieve!

Hey everyone!

I'm the founder of LaunchAEO, an Answer Engine Optimization platform I've been building for around 4/5 months with 10 years experience in software dev to help businesses understand and improve how they're discovered and recommended by AI. I have had some review sessions with other developers I know that really like it and a marketing agency that have helped with some metrics needed for the dashboard.

I'm currently preparing for our Product Hunt Hyperlaunch and would genuinely appreciate some feedback from this community.

The idea behind LaunchAEO is pretty simple: I want to help level the playing field in AI search.

Take a local garage as an example.

Someone asks ChatGPT, "What's the best garage near me to service my car?"

Will AI recommend a major national chain like Halfords or Kwik Fit, or will it discover the independent garage down the road with hundreds of excellent reviews and years of happy customers?

I believe smaller businesses deserve a fair opportunity to be discovered, even without the marketing budgets and SEO teams of larger brands.

That's what I'm trying to build with LaunchAEO.

The platform is designed to be approachable for everyday business owners while still providing the tools and data that experienced SEO professionals and larger organisations need.

We've also introduced a free tier because I don't think understanding your visibility in AI search should be something only businesses with big budgets can afford. I also believe my competitors like SEMRUSH and other providers in this space are too often geared towards big SEO teams and marketing agencies essentially leaving behind the smaller business owner.

Why can't SEO be DIY?

Here's where I'd really appreciate your help.

I'm working on how we communicate what LaunchAEO actually does, particularly to small business owners who may never have heard of AEO.

Our current messaging is:

"Is AI recommending your business?"

And our tagline is:

"GET MENTIONED. GET AHEAD."

I'd love to know:

1. Does that immediately communicate what we're trying to solve?

2. Would an everyday business owner understand the value, or is it still too technical?

3. How would you explain AI search visibility in simpler terms?

I'm not here to pitch everyone a subscription. I'm genuinely interested in building something useful and making sure we're explaining it in a way that makes sense.

I have to paywall a lot of my features currently including the automated fix list with copy and paste or easy to understand step by step fixes for owners. Once I have (hopefully) more paying customers I will be able to release this to the free tier. That being said the starter tier is priced low enough for founders / small business owners.

I have primarily focussed on adding as much as possible to the dashboard, please read around the site - sign up for a free account have a look around audit your site and let me know any bugs / any wording you would change and generally just be great to get some feedback before my hyperlaunch as I have never done this before. Also I'm a great developer but not particularly great at describing / selling my product :)
