I built Lattice Lab because I was frustrated with how limiting traditional chat interfaces felt when thinking through complex ideas, since real reasoning is not linear but exploratory and branching, so I wanted to create a space where conversations could evolve like a graph rather than a single thread, allowing people to explore multiple directions in parallel, compare different model responses, merge insights, and think more clearly without losing context, ultimately turning AI from a simple chat tool into a structured thinking environment.

Really like the concept of branching conversations β€” it makes exploring ideas feel more like thinking in a map than a straight line.

One small thing I noticed: when merging threads, it’s not immediately obvious how edits in one branch affect others. A subtle visual cue or confirmation might help first-time users feel more confident.

There are a few other small ways the onboarding and clarity could be tightened up β€” happy to share more insights if useful!
