Great seeing some Laravel resources get visibility on PH, is there a third edition in the works @stauffermatt? @gummibeer it sounds like you still recommend the 2nd edition as a resource for new Laravel devs in 2021?

@gummibeer @kalaboxme I'm no longer worrying about versions, and I'm just pushing updates within the second edition. The edition covering Laravel 8 will be reprinted soon and I'll announce it on my Twitter when that happens. :)

Who's adding upvoting programming books from early 2019? What's this nonsense? – I was excited for a new version but alas, no luck…

@sirnovi In 2019 I committed to no longer require people to purchase new editions, and that I would instead continue updating this book as Laravel released new versions. We're now just doing reprints within the same version. There's a reprint coming in the new few weeks to months that will cover up through Laravel 8.
