Great job, team! As a marketer, I have to admit, this is my first Product Hunt release. I had to consider so many angles: what to include in the description, how to present the onboarding, and how to let our audience know about the launch. I have to admit — you never really know who you’re up against until you take a peek at the Coming Soon page. What surprised me was that while most products do have teaser campaigns, their approach doesn’t actually tease the users. I chose a different route: turning it into a mystery for people to solve. The more popular your company is, the more momentum you can build with a teaser campaign that keeps people guessing. When it comes to launch day, it’s all about rallying your network: social media, newsletter digests, emails to customers, and personal requests. I’m thrilled that today is finally the big day, and I hope our hype train takes off!
