Great job, team! As a marketer, I have to admit, this is my first Product Hunt release. I had to consider so many angles: what to include in the description, how to present the onboarding, and how to let our audience know about the launch. The first decision was the goal — maximize traffic or aim for a chance to get featured. Since most AI products here target Gen AI users, and very few in the AI category are tailored for ML engineers, we decided to focus on the second goal and pick the least competitive days. I have to admit — you never really know who you’re up against until you take a peek at the Coming Soon page. Teaser campaigns are crucial because they allow you to build up subscribers before the launch goes live. The earlier you start, the better. What surprised me was that while most products do have teaser campaigns, their approach doesn’t actually tease the users. I chose a different route: turning it into a mystery for people to solve. The more popular your company is, the more momentum you can build with a teaser campaign that keeps people guessing. When it comes to launch day, it’s all about rallying your network: social media, newsletter digests, emails to customers, and personal requests. I’m thrilled that today is finally the big day, and I hope our hype train takes off!
