Good idea. You guys may want to check the Indian bank connections once.. Citibank and HDFC both didn't work for some reason.
Umesh Gopinath
@deep It should work. I have citibank, icici and sbi connected. Others in the team have HDFC. It's a bit flaky I agree. We are talking to more service providers. Maybe give it a day and try again. Let us know hello@kubera.com. Thank you.

@kubera @ooomz Yes, will communicate privately.

The application looks really cool. However, it doesn't seem to be ready to be a paid application yet. For example, I couldn't find options to connect my AXIS and HSBC accounts (India). The other 3 accounts worked fine though, for now. Also, a bunch of Indian folks have accounts in public sector banks as well. I am guessing automatically updating numbers for those accounts will be a pipe dream. Nevertheless, 1 USP of Kubera, for me, is support for multiple currencies at the same time. I have used many budgeting/asset tracking software in the past, but the lack of support for multiple currencies have been a bummer. Wish you all the best guys!
Umesh Gopinath
@shayonpal Hey Shayon how are you? To connect to Indian banks, click on the globe icon - on the Connect Account option. For Indian users, the default option will be the Indian service provider. Try and let me know. Thank you.

@ooomz Hey man, it's great to check out another app that you and @rohitkubera have worked on. Well, I'm in Canada these days, so my default location was that. I have accounts with 2 Canadian banks, and both worked great. When I clicked on the Globe icon and searched to add my HSBC & AXIS Cards, I couldn't find them. These are the only options I got - https://imgur.com/a/750klWE 1 more feedback. I had accidentally added my HDFC Savings account in the 'Investments' sheet, whereas I wanted to add it under a custom 'Savings' sheet. I thought I could move the record between the sheets using the handlebars but looks like that isn't supported yet. I had to delete the record (actually, the bank connection) and add it again in the other sheet.
Umesh Gopinath
@shayonpal Yeah moving across sheets is not supported right now. It's in todo. Sorry or that. Please give one more shot at search. Try searching HSBC India, and Axis Bank India

@ooomz Just tried it. No Luck 🙂 https://imgur.com/a/k2peUan

@shayonpal Funny. Let me check with the devs and come back. I'm in Austraila. It's working for me.

It could be great if Yodlee could also be offered as an alternative to Plaid for some accounts. I love the UX of Plaid, but unfortunately it doesn't support many accounts that Yodlee does. e.g. Plaid doesn't support Fidelity accoutns if you use 2FA at Fidelity.

Great idea! Looking forward to hearing more.
