Kontexted started from a pain I kept hitting: project specs and context scattered across repos as random Markdown files. Once a project grows into multiple repos (and multiple people), context starts to disappear—docs get duplicated, outdated, or buried. Keeping everything structured, in sync, and up to date becomes a real team nightmare, especially while shipping fast. So we built Kontexted to centralize development context in one place, keep it collaborative and versioned, and make it easy for the team (and AI assistants) to pull the latest source of truth. The end goal is to bring an LLM into the webapp for brainstorming and extending Markdown notes—then make that context even more usable: semantic search, better organization, and an always-current “source of truth” the whole team can rely on. We are still in very early development, everything is public, and any suggestions and bug reports are welcome. This started as a way to solve a problem for ourselves, and we hope you find it useful as well.
