We built Komisyonsuz after seeing two major challenges faced by restaurants and local businesses: high commission costs from third-party ordering platforms and inefficient manual order management through channels like WhatsApp.
Many businesses were losing a significant part of their revenue to commission fees, while others were managing orders through long message conversations, making the process slower, harder to organize, and more prone to mistakes.
We wanted to create a simpler and more efficient way for businesses to receive orders directly under their own brand, without unnecessary commissions or complicated ordering processes.
During the development process, our main focus was helping businesses accept direct online orders through their own branded channels, while also making QR menus more functional and valuable as part of the ordering experience. We transformed QR menus from simple digital menus into a complete self-service ordering experience. Customers can scan a QR code, place their order directly, send it instantly to the cashier and kitchen, and complete their payment from the same screen without waiting for staff assistance.

Honestly this is a solid idea, we tested the QR menu flow at a cafe last weekend and basically the whole order to kitchen thing just worked without any hiccups. The no commission angle is honestly what grabbed me first.
