What makes an AI-generated flashcard trustworthy enough to study?

Fast generation is useful, but a polished-looking card can still omit a condition, flatten an explanation or test recognition instead of recall. For Knowyio I made every generated deck an editable draft before it can be saved.

The review checklist currently asks learners to check four things: whether the question has one clear target, whether the answer includes required conditions, whether the wording matches the source and exam context, and whether the card should be deleted rather than memorised.

For people who use AI study tools: what is the one review step you would never skip? I am especially interested in examples where a plausible card was still unsafe or unhelpful to learn.
