The worst place to lose something? Somewhere safe.

“I’ll put this somewhere safe.”

Excellent security. Occasionally, even you can’t find it again. 😅

Here’s a small organising idea worth trying, with or without an app: give rarely used things an address.

Instead of “in a drawer”, use:

Bedroom → top drawer → blue pouch.

Try it with something you won’t need until you REALLY need it: a warranty receipt, spare cable or travel adapter.

Write down its address when you put it away. Update it when it moves.

I’m Muhammad Adil, maker of KnowWhere, and this is the habit the app is designed around: save a location by voice or typing, then look it up when you forget. Voice supports English, Hindi and Urdu.

The part I’d love your input on: would you actually remember to save the location? That’s the habit this needs to earn—it doesn’t automatically track your things.

If you’d like to test it, KnowWhere is free on Android:

What’s your “somewhere safe” item—and what do you currently do to remember where it is?

No need to share the actual location of anything valuable.
