KitQuest - Turn chores into epic quests. Watch your Kits level up!

by
Tired of nagging your kids about chores? KitQuest gamifies household tasks so your family actually wants to help out. Parents create Quests with point values, kids claim and complete them, and everyone tracks progress on a family leaderboard. Earn points, unlock achievements, and redeem real rewards. We're building KitQuest with our community, not just for it. Feature requests come directly from families using the app — your feedback shapes what we build next.

Hey Product Hunt! I'm the founder of KitQuest, and this whole thing started because I was looking for something that I could use at home. I started writing the app for just me and my kids, but then thought others could benifit from this app as well. So I built a tool for my family. A way to turn chores into Quests, let the kids (we call them Kits, my daughter came up with the initial fox drawing and helped pick the name) earn points, and redeem rewards they actually care about. Leaderboards, achievements, levels — the stuff that makes helping out feel less like a battle and more like a game. Did it magically turn my kids into chore-loving machines? No. They're still kids. But it provided a history and let me figure out struggles the kids were having on certain nights. "Did you do your Quest?" works way better than asking five times. Here's what matters to us: we're building KitQuest with our community, not just for it. Feature requests come directly from the families using the app — if something's missing or could work better, we want to hear it. Drop a comment, send us a message, whatever works. Your feedback shapes what we build next. I know there are still some issues we are working through, but we hope, in the end, this can be the best tool for parents. Give it a try and tell us what you think. Seriously.
