Kitemaker - A fast tool for product collaboration and discussions

Collaborate through all phases of the product development process in Kitemaker and keep track of work across Slack, Discord, Figma, and Github. It's still super-fast and has even more hotkeys.

I met this team last year and have watched them continue to develop their platform. Tackling perhaps one of the greatest challenges in our space. Getting cross-functional teams to actually be cross-functional. 😅 They just launched a completely revamped version with new features and are also in the next YC batch (congrats!).

@percival1 Super! Thanks you so much for hunting us! Hey ProductHunt 👋 We've been working hard to redesign Kitemaker to build something that is more than an issue tracker. Now our users tell us that that we've made a faster and more collaborative alternative. How it works: Kitemaker specifically targets product collaboration between design, engineering, and product management. So the basic elements of Kitemaker are work items, which are collaborative documents, together with a discussion feed. Work items give you a central place to keep discussions and progress on what you are building. The best part is that the work items are integrated with Figma, Github, Slack, and Discord, so no matter where work is done, it can be shared through Kitemaker. Doing discovery and roadmapping? Not a problem! Set up your backlog board and themed roadmap in Kitemaker. Besides, you can prioritize impact and effort to ensure you are working on the top priorities. Our refocus has given us plenty of new users, as well as a place in Y-Combinator, so I hope you also find something that resonates. Please tell us what you think and post any questions you might have! If you want help onboarding, we'd be happy to help. Kitemaker is different, but as soon as you have your structure, onboarding your team is a breeze. We have also made a promo code for all ProductHunt users, it'll give you 50% for 12 months. We have a generous freemium model, so feel free to try it out for free (promo expires at the end of the year)

This is Trello for the 2020s - Superhuman performance and deep integrations with the tools we use (Figma, Github and Slack) Using productivity tools for me is usually a chore, but with Kitemaker the experience is delightful

Kitemaker will please the ones that are shortcut centric. If you can relate to any of those tools: Vimium, Superhuman, Raycast, Magnet, Alfred than Kitemaker will make you happy.

In addition to all the useful integrations, I really like the way Kitemaker deals with roadmap themes. I used to hack this together in other tools with labels and linked documents, and it inevitably ended in a mess. In Kitemaker I get it out of the box. 🥳

Kitemaker is awesome!!! It's lightning fast, super easy to use, intuitive and at the same time scalable. You can be a complete noob like me or a power user and you will love it. I've been pushing hard internally to use it more. Seriously, give it a try!
