Hi Product Hunt — I built KeepFacts around a narrow problem: an AI rewrite can sound polished while quietly changing a date, number, or link. Traditional diffs show every wording edit. KeepFacts instead extracts exact details from a trusted source and the new draft, then flags items that may have changed, disappeared, or been added. It currently covers common Chinese and English dates, money, percentages, quantities, versions, URLs, emails, standalone numbers, and user-defined must-preserve terms. Everything runs locally in the browser with deterministic rules. There is no account, AI API key, tracking code, automatic saving, or upload. You can review each warning, add a note or expected fix, copy a confirmed-issues-only fix list, and export a traceable Markdown report. An important boundary: KeepFacts does not verify whether a claim is true, guarantee that every fact is recognized, or judge whether the full meaning was preserved. It is a focused preflight check with a human review step. The built-in 30-second example changes September 15 to September 18, changes 100 users to 80, and drops a launch URL. I would value concrete feedback: what exact fact did it miss, or what did it flag unnecessarily? Source:
