9 months after the original Karmabot 1.0 got featured here (which brought more than 7750 users in just 6 hours. We love you ProductHunt!) we are launching Karmabot 2.0! New Karmabot uses Natural Language Understanding (NLU) and Machine Learning technologies to read, recognise and predict the reasons provided with your karma requests to create a profile for each team member. The metrics we recognise and utilise: - Teamwork - Above & Beyond - Goals - Reliability - Communications In conjunction with the usual karma points tracking (++ for being good, -- for being not too good) Karmabot became an affordable Slack-based HR tool, a system that can truly streamline your business on Slack. A manager can set immediate and long-term (quarterly) KPI targets and push team’s performance even further. In fact, the total quarterly bonus, generally a monetary one, is defined in goals and at the end of every quarter, it gets automatically divided among team members. Karmabot leads to better team coordination and cooperation in pursuit of common benefits. Karmabot can be used to set, track and fulfil both short-term and long-term rewards simultaneously. PH Goodie Bag: EXPIRED + Free Karmabot Chrome extension: + Karmabot Slack theme (copy and paste this line of HEX codes to any Slack): #34343D,#071013,#D37B00,#ececef,#000000,#dedad7,#FD992C,#FF715B Today's stats: - Users: 119,839 - Karma points given: 77,095 - Teams: 879 Microsoft, VMWare, Capgemini, Toyota, Expedia teams were caught using Karmabot recently.
Initially, Karmabot was an internal tool, a chatbot we built to make our team happier on Slack. Each karma request must have a sound reason and has to be either approved or rejected by the admin. Anyone can request karma. Make bulk karma requests for all #channels members. > /invite > #product 20++ Sweet karma to everyone for meeting the deadline! > Rad! got +20 karma from > Sublime! got +20 karma from > ++ For being super responsive! > Great! got +1 karma from Karmabot handles karma, and you choose what to do with that data. Here are some ideas: - Fair performance reviews - Monthly or/and quarterly bonus system - Awards of all sorts - Teams engagement visualised, etc. Try Karmabot for free during the comfortably long 90-days trial period. The app requires a paid account with our service.
What does the colors indicate?
Nothing really, just to separate visually metrics apart.
So metrics are mapped to colors then. Like "web chart" More of this less of that. You cant sort of top all metrics at ones. Correct?
it is like a web chart: the colours indicate the proportions of categories in your karma requests. You can sort, filter, compare — plenty of tools in the dashboard.
Really awesome man. As long as you cant top all colors i'm all for it. I think slackbots is something all startups should invest in. It can get a bit expensive if you want many so what about creating a sort of slack-bot-pack. Where you get 10 bots for a discounted price? I know there are many packs like this for mac apps. Just an idea ✌️
Great job Stas! Love this!

Pros:

Hello World! 🕯🔥

Cons:

⚖️ Outstanding

We have been using Karmabot for 3 years straight and it provides valuable insights into our teams performance. Highly recommend. Give it a try for at least 3 months. It takes time for people to get used to it and after that the ball starts rolling.
Btw. I just have conversation with karmabot support team. The have currently absolutely free solution for Telegram groups.
