KAOREN - Collaborative 3D face drawing - sketch together in real time

by
KAOREN is a browser-based, real-time collaborative app for practicing face sketches with VRM 3D heads. Rotate or randomize the camera, switch expressions, and run 15–90s (or no limit) croquis rounds. Share a room to sync the exact 3D view, layers, and strokes via WebSocket. No install, no signup, and VRM files stay local (never uploaded).

Hey Product Hunt! 👋 Try it here: https://kaoren.me I built KAOREN to solve two problems: 1️⃣ Static references lock you into fixed angles 2️⃣ Getting feedback on your drawing *process* is hard online 🎨 **Solo practice** - Load a built-in 3D character (or import your own VRM locally) - Run 15/30/60/90s croquis rounds with randomized angles & expressions - The camera always keeps the face perfectly framed - Export the 3D view + your sketch as a single PNG 👥 **Learning together (real-time collaboration)** - Create a room in one click and share the invite link - Everyone sees the same 3D view and draws on shared layers - Teachers can demonstrate brush strokes live while students follow along Technical notes: - Cloudflare Durable Objects + WebSocket for real-time sync - VRM files never leave your device (no uploads) - Works fully in the browser, no signup - 8 languages supported It’s completely free. I’d love feedback from art educators — what would make this more useful for teaching?
