🚀 Kalibrate UE — Fast, Solo Lens Calibration for Unreal Engine

Hey Product Hunt! I’m Sean, creator of Kalibrate — a lens calibration tool built specifically for Unreal Engine creators.

After wasting hours calibrating primes with hardware rigs and assistant help, I built Kalibrate to make the process solo, fast, and frustration-free.

▶️ What Kalibrate does:

Auto-tracks checkerboards

Auto-captures calibration images

Calculates K1 distortion

Exports JSON lens data

Converts to Unreal-ready lens & camera assets with a simple Python script

→ No gear. No crew. No subscriptions.

Built for:

🎬 Indie filmmakers

🎮 Unreal Engine artists

🧪 Real-time VFX creators

🎥 Virtual production pros

This is truely awesome! The whole "no gear, no crew, no subscriptions" thing is kinda genius imo. Solo lens calibration sounds like a lifesaver for indie projects like mine – no more begging friends for help! So, how's the Python script integration? Is it easy to pick up even for someone who's not a Python whiz?
