JustOurBlock - A private app for just your block

Hey everyone — I'm the maker of JustOurBlock. I built this because I was tired of Nextdoor. Every time I opened it, it was political arguments, crime fearmongering, and posts from people who live 10 miles away. Facebook neighborhood groups weren't much better — strangers, spam, and drama. None of it had anything to do with the people who actually live on my street. I just wanted a simple, private space for my immediate neighbors. A place to say "hey, anyone have a ladder I can borrow?" or "heads up, there's a package thief on the block" — without the noise. No algorithms deciding what I see. No strangers weighing in. No ads. No tracking. So I built JustOurBlock. It's a private community app scoped to a single block or street. You create your block, invite your neighbors by name, and that's it — message board, neighbor directory, and a map of who lives where. Nobody outside your block can see anything or join without an invitation. It's $9/month per block (any neighbor can chip in), with a free 14-day trial. Web app is live now, iOS app is on the way.
