Journale - Add AI characters to Unity games. Serverless SDK

by
AI characters for games. Working dialogue in hours, not months. Journale handles the hard parts: rate limiting, content moderation, and player auth (Currently supports Steamworks verification). Your team stays focused on game design. Players return for characters they can actually talk to, not just new content drops. Devs get the insight they need to improve retention. Two paths: serverless SDK or server-side API. You choose.

Hey Product Hunt! I'm Mohamed, the builder behind Journale. I kept running into the same problem: game devs want AI characters that actually talk to players, but local models are too weak for immersion. So you're suddenly managing servers, rate limiting, content moderation, and player auth. It's a full infrastructure project before a single NPC says a word. A few things I'm proud of: - It sounds like a game character, not a chatbot. Responses are concise, in-character, and match the tone you set. - Two integration paths. Serverless for speed, server-side for control. - Actions integration is coming along well (for AI action triggers in game!) 500 credits/mo for plenty of free testing. And 70% off coupon PRODUCTHUNT70. It's currently packaged as Unity-first, but the REST API works with any engine today. I'd love to hear from game devs: What games would you like me to work on for engines/games (Unreal, Roblox, etc...)? And which release platforms are most important for ownership verification. Drop your questions — I'll be here all day!
