If migrating a custom domain over and want to import links is there an easy import process and also way to guarantee no downtime?

thanks for your interest in JotUrl. Currently, we can offer two solutions to your question. You can import your links by using our APIs or you can open a ticket on our support platform asking for a bulk import of them (we currently support a wide range of source documents, e.g., csv, text, xls). To avoid downtime, you have to point the DNS records of your domain to our platform (we will give you detailed information), but during the DNS propagation time you have to keep the old service up for the transfer to complete (typically within 48 hours).
thanks just signed up but also seeing an issue possibly when I try to edit the destination of a previously made short link. I made a test link at your url jo.my/SOC-test and then edited the original destination URL from SaveOnCannabis.com to SaveOnCannabis.com/cbd-coupons and still only see he url directing to the main homepage.

Hi , thanks for the question! Actually, you encountered a very specific case: in fact, if you create a new tracking link with a destination but you change the destination soon after having created it, JotUrl (for security reasons) automatically performs some additional checks. This may take few seconds up to 6 minutes and during that time your link still points to the original destination. In fact I can see your link pointing correctly to the new destination now. Hope this helps :)

in addition to what wrote, please consider that our engine emits permanent redirects (R301) on tracking links. Browsers cache these type of redirects for a time that changes from browser to browser but that can be in the order of minutes. Furthermore, the redirect services are independent of the dashboard and have an internal cache that can last 30 minutes.

If you need an all-in-one marketing tool for track, short, boost your links and get insight on them, according to me, this is the best on market.

Cool product. Would be very interested on your perspective - at what # of clicks per link does an optimization product like this start to help? Said another way, what is minimum level of traffic you need to get value from your product?

interesting question! JotURL isn't just an analytics tool, so for the "marketing side" of the product it also depends a lot on the quality of the traffic you receive. In some cases I experienced some really useful tactics with just 2k Clicks on a link (to create custom audience on Facebook) or with the Easy Deep Link to bring users from Instagram links to Facebook Groups (30-40 clicks at week, but 50% more on conversion rate)
