I'm Tanvir and I've created a modern journal web app. I've used a bunch of journal apps before but they all had their problems. Whether it was locking basic features behind a paywall, bad UI/UX or had missing features like device sync.
So, I decided to build my own journal app (Yup, this is all made by me). A journal that's encrypted by default, has device sync, it's fast, and is genuinely built to improve the journal experience. I also added some useful AI features and things like tracking goals or using prompts to encourage writing ability and more.
The base version is also free because I genuinely think that everyone should have access to a good journal. And then the Pro version has AI, uploading files and larger limits for things like character count.
The mobile app isn't finished yet but hopefully that'll be ready by the end of May.
