I just wanna say PixaTool has been done from scratch with a new UI allowing load external palettes in .pal format and removing the size limitation, so now you can work with 4k images or higher. Also now the app adapt to any monitor resolution without scale!!!
How do updates work? If I new version is pushed, do I get an email to download it? As annoying as the Mac Appstore is, this is one of the benefits for me (auto updating apps)!
No more updates are planed, but in that case you will receive a link into your email to download any new version.
Fun. I like this.
Great tool, I can see this being very useful for certain types of game developers.
Hello, when I change the parameters "Pixelate W" and "Pixelate H", the image I exported will be smaller. For example, if I set these two parameters as 2, the 256*256 original image will change to 128*128(on demo mode). How to solve it?
This is how works. You will export always at 1:1 ratio. This means that if you add a 512x512 image and set 4 on Pixelte W/H the exported image will be 128x128, due 512/4=128.
Okay...I got it. I want to make a pixel art character map in game, so I can't change the size of it. A little pity :(
Wow this is so cool. Good work!
