We built this launch after noticing how many SaaS companies struggle with processing subscription invoices from multiple vendors. Each invoice can have a different layout, billing structure, and pricing model, which makes manual data entry slow and error-prone for finance teams. Our goal with AZAPI’s Invoice OCR API was to create a developer-friendly solution that can automatically extract structured data from SaaS invoices and integrate it directly into accounts payable workflows. During development, we focused on handling the nuances of SaaS billing such as usage-based pricing, tiered plans, and recurring subscription cycles.
