Did you guys get all 40k+ investors' permission to post their info? Now all the startups are going to spam the investors, how can you make sure it doesn't happen?
Hey Chen! Investors made their emails publicly available, and anyone can access them. We just built a few systems that collect data automatically so we can have larger numbers that are more up-to-date. Startups whose strategy is to spam investors will spam them with or without us. Either way, spam isn't a winning strategy so they'll figure out not to abuse systems like this eventually. We're working hard on building tools that help founders find the most *relevant* investors to reach out to––without wasting time doing grunt work data research. That should decrease both the need to spam and the amount of spam.
, investors want business, so they are technically interested in exploring new opportunities. Our job was to make sure startups don't spam them, and we believe pricing is the best way to eliminate unserious startups. Hope I answered your question.
is there a better way to filter out spammers from the legit startups
there are so many similar product out there, what makes this platform better?
Epic!

Amazing, quick one - I'm raising Seed right now but think I'll have more luck in the U.K. Does this database cover the U.K. market as well?
Yes it does!
Thank you! I'll be signing up now using the promotional code.
One comment is that there aren't actually that many emails, and even less when trying to filter by sector.

I've reached out to a few investors and have some phone calls setup!

Pros:

It saves so much time. Tracking down all this info sucks. It's finally in one easy to see place.

Cons:

None so far.

As a founder, one of the common problems is lack of time. Reaching out to investors is definitely important and time-consuming. I am glad to see a product that can save founders huge amount of time because at the end of the day, time is the most important asset.

Pros:

Saving a lot of time for me.

Cons:

not found.

We inspire ....

Already reached out to 5 investors and got one reply. Not sure if they have rights to share investors info. But hey who cares, as long as it's works and it is benefiting to me.

Pros:

This prob has the most complete list of investors. 40K+ investors it can probably last my team for years to come.

Cons:

Not yet found

Investor hunt is a centralized resource to help doers find seed capital. Search is instantaneous and quite useful.

Pros:

Clear value proposition, solves a real problem for product people

Cons:

Data quality not always 100%

Half the people inside are not investors and the links out go to completely incorrect places.

Pros:

Large

Cons:

Shitty data

Great place to start when finding the best investors interested in your target market. Recommended to combine Investor Hunt with LeadIQ for getting email addresses.

Pros:

Outstanding and overall up to date database.

Cons:

Would be helpful if they specifically displayed which people were angel investors vs. VC partners. But you can figure it out, too.
