Shopify shuts down Stocky on August 31. If you used it for forecasting and reorder points, the native replacement is ask-based - you have to remember to go ask what to reorder. Nothing watches your stock in the background. Inventory Guard computes velocity, lead time and safety stock from your real order history, shows its reasoning instead of a bare number, and alerts you before you run out. Hey Product Hunt - I'm Roy, I built this alone. Short version of why: Stocky, Shopify's own inventory app, shuts down on August 31st, and I kept seeing the same complaint in Shopify's merchant forums. The native replacement can tell you what to reorder if you ask it, but nothing watches your stock and tells you before you run out. So I built the missing background half. It is not a Stocky clone - no purchase orders, no stocktakes, no transfers. Just forecasting, reorder points and low-stock alerts, computed from your real order history, with the reasoning shown so you are not trusting a black-box number.
