Started as a curious play - turned into a large platform of 19 apps
Hi I'm Ben.
I’ve spent 15+ years working with low-code, collaboration and content management systems in government. A couple of years ago, I started experimenting with AI to see how far I could take an idea of my own.
A few restarts and a lot of scope expansion later, I launched Lunar Paper into public open beta.
It’s a self-hosted platform with 19 applications covering project planning, forms, automation, dashboards, documents and creative tools. Most support live collaboration, with shared accounts and permissions.
The application code is fully AI-generated, with me directing development and testing. Its been long, with a couple pauses but after two y ears i finally got a beta out.
I find using AI to build things has a sense of magic to it, but the verification and testing after is painful :)
