Preparing for launch: helping the right jobs come to you

I know, putting “long-term” next to “job search” sounds awful and a bit dystopian. But it’s a reality for a lot of us.

For me, job searching meant endless LinkedIn scrolling, refreshing company career pages, and digging through irrelevant postings to find something worth applying for.

You can put up with that for a week or two. When it stretches into months, it becomes soul-sucking.

I’m building around a simpler idea: follow the companies you’d like to work for, save your filters, describe the work you want, and let new matches come to you.

You shouldn’t have to keep repeating the same search just because the right role hasn’t opened yet.

This grew out of my own frustrating search in a very competitive job market. I’d love to hear from anyone who’s been through something similar. What part of the process wore you down most?
