I’m launching my first app in 7 days. What would you focus on during the final week?

Hey PH,

For the past few months, I’ve been building Floviu, a focus app inspired by a problem I’ve struggled with myself: sometimes you know exactly what you need to do, but your mind simply refuses to focus.

I’ve tested 100+ productivity apps over the years, and I didn’t want to build another Pomodoro timer that simply counts down 25 minutes or another app blocker that completely locks you out of your phone.

The idea behind Floviu is different: create the right environment to focus, reduce distractions, understand what actually helps you concentrate, and gradually build better focus habits.

The main features are now almost ready:

• Focus Timer — Pomodoro-style Focus Sprints or uninterrupted Open Focus sessions.

• Soft Blocking — gently interrupts distracting apps and automatic scrolling instead of simply locking you out.

• Focus Insights — discover your best focus times, distraction patterns, Focus Score, and what your best sessions have in common.

• Focus World — every focused session grows your own visual world, so your progress doesn’t disappear when the timer ends.

• Focus Soundscapes — calming sounds designed to create a better environment for deep work.

• Today View + Calendar — see where your focused time goes and connect Google Calendar or Outlook.

We’re planning to launch on August 24 for iOS and Android, so there’s officially just one week to go. 😅

This week, we’re finalizing the individual feature pages on the website and going through the last details before launch.

And this is where I’d really appreciate some advice:

If you were one week away from launching a new app, where would you spend most of your time?

1. Getting more beta testers and collecting last-minute feedback?

2. App Store and Google Play optimization?

3. Creating more launch content? (I already have the store visuals and launch video ready.)

4. Reaching out to creators and building partnerships?

5. Preparing for Product Hunt? (I probably started a little late here—I only joined a few days ago 😅)

6. Something completely different that I’m overlooking?

At this point, I feel like adding another feature is probably much less valuable than making sure people actually discover Floviu, understand what makes it different, and give it a try.
