AssetForge Labs

I built a free, serverless tool to package digital downloads instantly.

by

Hey everyone,

I’m a mechanical engineering student, which means my brain is wired to look at physical manufacturing processes—like how a foundry operates—and figure out how to make them relentlessly efficient.

Recently, I started looking at the Creator Economy and realized that digital product sellers (on Etsy, Gumroad, etc.) have terrible workflows. They are spending hours manually zipping files, researching platform-specific SEO, and entering metadata. It’s the digital equivalent of a broken assembly line.

So, I built AssetForge Labs to completely automate it.

It’s a 100% free tool that:

  1. Auto-packages scattered files into cleanly structured ZIPs.

  2. Analyzes the market to suggest pricing and 2026 search tags.

  3. Generates platform-ready SEO metadata.

The Engineering Challenge: I wanted this to be hyper-secure, so I built it to run 100% locally in the browser. There is absolutely no server backend for file processing, meaning unreleased digital assets never leave the user's device.

Since I am coming at this from an industrial engineering mindset rather than a traditional SaaS background, I would love some ruthless feedback from the builders here.

Does the UI make sense? Is the Smart Analyzer actually pulling helpful tags for you? What features would you add to make this a bulletproof workflow?

You can test it without making an account here: https://assetforgelabs.com

Thanks for the feedback!

I like this because it targets a very boring but real workflow. A lot of small creators don’t need a massive platform; they need fewer repetitive steps between creating the product and actually delivering it cleanly.

Wow, this is a clever solution! Love the industrial...engineering angle you brought to the creator workflow. The local-only processing feels super secure, and the auto-packaging/SEO analyzer could save a ton of time. I’m definitely going to give it a spin. If you’re up for it, I’m launching on PH soon — would appreciate a follow (see PRODUCT HUNT LAUNCH link in my profile). I’m building The Sponge, an AI-powered flashcard app that turns any webpage into study material and uses spaced repetition to help knowledge stick.
