How do you find your first beta users? (Building a keyboard killer)

by

Hey!

I'm currently trying to find my first 20 beta users for SpeechToFlow.com, but I'll be honest: I have no idea what the best process is.

The Vision: I truly believe that in the near future, we won't use keyboards anymore. My goal is to revolutionize note-taking, email writing, and AI prompting by removing the friction of typing.

The Product: I built an application to replace the keyboard. You simply speak, and we instantly write and structure your thoughts perfectly on any application.

My Ask for the Community:

  • Advice: How did you find your very first early adopters? Are there any specific strategies or channels that worked well for you?

  • Feedback: Would anyone here be interested in becoming a beta user for free? I would love your honest, raw feedback.

Thanks so much in advance for your help!

Neat vision for killing the keyboard! Outreach was key in my previous launches (one even hit product of the day). If you're up for it, I'm launching The Sponge on PH soon...would appreciate a follow (See "PRODUCT HUNT LAUNCH" Link in my profile). It's an AI flashcard app that turns web content into spaced repetition study material.

I'm trying to find users on Reddit discussing disappointment in there current products, apps i am competing with, and reaching out directly. So far had about 3 sign up. It does seem a lot of effort but doing this I'm hoping I will get people who if they like my product will genuinely go for the paid tier when I fully launch.
