About

Solo indie developer at Code and Sea Ltd. Crafting minimalist, local-first software designed to be owned, not rented. Current project: Transcendence (transcendenceapp.com) — a native iOS meditation timer built for zero data-tracking and zero subscriptions. Building transparently in the quiet hours while balancing a career and chronic pain. I don't pull all-nighters or sprint to launch; I build at a human pace. Say goodbye to renting your apps and hello to true software ownership.

Solo dev from India — zero funding, many failures 👋

Hey Product Hunt! Really excited to finally be here.

I'm a solo indie developer from India. I spent 8 months building my first app failed multiple times, ran out of ideas, started over again and again. No co-founder, no investor, no team.

The hardest part wasn't the code it was believing the product was worth finishing.

Would love to connect with other solo founders here. What was the hardest moment for you when building your first product? Did you ever almost give up?

Melissa, solo founder of MapCrush

Hi everyone, I'm Melissa, solo founder of MapCrush. I built a tool that shows small business owners exactly where they rank on Google Maps and gives them one simple task a day to improve it, no confusing dashboard, no agency price tag. No dev background, built this with a lot of trial and error and a genuine belief that local businesses deserve better tools than what's currently priced for agencies.

Excited to be part of this community, and happy to swap notes with other solo/bootstrapped founders figuring things out as they go.
