Hey everyone! 👋

I'm Vaibhav, a software engineer from Goa, India, and I've spent the last few months building PairUp.chat—a platform focused on helping people discover new communities, make friends, and have meaningful conversations online.

The idea came from noticing that many random chat platforms prioritize quick interactions but don't give people a way to build lasting connections or find communities around shared interests. I wanted to explore whether AI could make online social discovery feel a little more intentional while still keeping it fun.

Building PairUp has taught me a lot already—from WebRTC and real-time systems to SEO, AI moderation, performance optimization, and the challenges of growing a startup with limited resources. There have been plenty of late nights, bugs that took days to solve, and moments where I questioned whether I was on the right path—but seeing real people use something you've built makes it worthwhile.

I'm here to learn from other founders and makers, share what I discover along the way, and hopefully help others who are building too.
