I'm leading community outreach for Talking Tree, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit making enterprise-grade legal technology and resources accessible to startups, small businesses, and nonprofits.

The reason we started Talking Tree is that good legal help is still extremely expensive, and a lot of the newer legal AI products are priced for large companies. We wanted to build something with a different model: our memberships are priced around the actual operating cost of providing the product, without investor markups or enterprise sales overhead. Plans start at $20/month, there’s no annual commitment, and select membership tiers are tax-deductible.

The product itself is built by Fortune 500 attorneys and engineers and trained around real legal work and workflows. It’s not just a general-purpose LLM with a legal prompt layered on top. You can draft, review, and sign contracts in one place, along with tools for IP protection, disputes, and other day-to-day legal decisions.

We’ve now helped 14,000+ founders and entrepreneurs, and I’m excited to meet other builders here, learn what everyone is working on, and get feedback as we continue improving Talking Tree.
