Hi, I'm a solo maker who built a ffee toolbox around one rule: no uploads
Hey everyone, I'm Max, a solo maker. I've been lurking on Product Hunt for a while and finally decided to introduce myself.
I mostly build small, practical tools. My main project right now is a browser-based toolbox — the one constraint I set from day one was that files never leave the user's browser. No uploads, no server-side processing. That rule ended up cutting a lot of features I wanted to build, but it also made the product honest: it can't promise "best in class," only "your file didn't go anywhere."
Before this I spent most of my time on web development data work / whatever], which is probably why I keep gravitating toward tools that are boring but useful.
I'm here to learn from other makers — especially people who've shipped something with a hard technical constraint and had to cut features because of it. I'd love to hear what you gave up and whether you'd make the same call again.
Happy to be here.
