Hey everyone, I'm Max, a solo maker. I've been lurking on Product Hunt for a while and finally decided to introduce myself.
I mostly build small, practical tools. My main project right now is a browser-based toolbox the one constraint I set from day one was that files never leave the user's browser. No uploads, no server-side processing. That rule ended up cutting a lot of features I wanted to build, but it also made the product honest: it can't promise "best in class," only "your file didn't go anywhere."
Before this I spent most of my time on web development data work / whatever], which is probably why I keep gravitating toward tools that are boring but useful.
I'm here to learn from other makers especially people who've shipped something with a hard technical constraint and had to cut features because of it. I'd love to hear what you gave up and whether you'd make the same call again.
