Hey this is Ayush and we are building Cvber
Building CVBER — free provenance infrastructure for artists.
What it is: C2PA certificates (signed to Adobe / Google / BBC trust list) + invisible watermark + perceptual hash bundle + OpenTimestamps BTC anchor + auto-generated DMCA pack. It's the full lifecycle: detect -> prove -> enforce. Live at cvber.vercel.app [github — MIT]
Who it's for: Independent digital artists / photographers who post on IG / ArtStation / Pinterest and then find their work on 12 random Pinterest boards they never made, or in a Discord prompt thread. Not studios with lawyers — artists who shouldn't need a lawyer to prove they made something.
Hardest part we're solving right now: C2PA gets stripped by platforms. Blockchain proves existence, not authorship. Watermark survives 78% after IG compression, not 100%. So no single layer works. We're solving it by bundling all 5 signals so one failure doesn't kill your claim, and making the legal part feel like one click, not a legal form.
Even harder: trust. This community has been burned by $20/mo "AI protection" tools. So we made it free for right now, no CC, no paid tiers, mock mode without API keys. Convincing artists it's actually free is the GTM challenge.
Would love thoughts from anyone who's touched CAI / Content Credentials or DMCA automation.
