Hello from Vietnam: 18 years in software, now building for families far from home

Hi everyone, I'm Kevin, a product and software builder from Nghe An, Vietnam.

I've spent 18 years in software development, working as a tech lead and on product strategy, mostly in video streaming, education and AI.

I grew up in a family where my parents kept every death anniversary and full-moon offering by the lunar calendar. Like many Vietnamese, I left home for work, and my generation is slowly losing those dates and the customs behind them. That is what I'm working on now: a lunar calendar and customs guide for Vietnamese families, built on sourced knowledge.
