Hello Product Hunt community!

I’m Vishal, a solopreneur and developer, Product passionate about data privacy and building useful utilities. I’ve been quietly hanging around the community for a bit, learning from all the incredible launches, and figured it was finally time to properly step up and say hello!

What I'm building:
Like many of you, I frequently use web-based tools to edit, merge, or redact PDFs containing sensitive information (like contracts, IDs, and financial documents). Every single time I uploaded a file to a popular cloud utility, I felt an uncomfortable spike of anxiety: Where is this data actually going? Who owns that server?

To solve my own problem, I built PrivacyScanPDF.com.

It’s an all-in-one PDF toolkit (Merge, Split, Compress, Sign, and Redact) that works 100% client-side using WebAssembly. Your files never touch a server, meaning your data remains entirely yours.

The DevTools Challenge 🛡️
Because talk is cheap when it comes to privacy, I love inviting tech-savvy builders to open their browser Developer Tools (F12) -> Network Tab while using the site. You can verify yourself that there are exactly zero network requests containing your file data.
